JEFF
HANNA
BIO
It all started in Southern
California when I was 11 years old and heard Black
Dog. I remember the singer sounded like a girl.
He sang so high with that bluesy type flavor. I
remember that song was unlike anything being played
at that time. I got my first guitar at 13, saw The
Song Remains The Same at 14, and I was done. After
that, I spent more time with my guitar than anything
or anyone else (we are happily married now and live
in an apartment in Encino). Since then, I played
in hard rock bands, even a glam rock band for about
a year. We played dates in Hollywood and the South
Bay. Sometime later, I was asked to join Megadeth
by Dave Mustaine just after he left Metallica. It's
interesting that, after some time, I was asked to
do this tribute project. Iv'e come full circle to
the music that was there in the beginning when everything
was new (and magic filled the air). There is definitely
a richness to Led Zeppelin music that you don't
find with everyone who picks up guitars and a microphone.
To us, it's more than just a gig...We are trying
to pick up on the essence and the substance of the
70's live shows that Zeppelin did!. Based on our
reviews and feedback, we seem to have captured something
here. No one seems to have been disappointed yet,
and I am sure we'll continue to turn heads...
